Easy Five is a beautiful, elegant and completely laid back guesthouse in Somerset West, Cape Town. It is nestled between the waters of False Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains on the doorstep of the world-famous Stellenbosch Winelands.

We offer comfortable bed-and-breakfast or self-catering accommodation in a quiet, lush garden setting complete with a heated, 10-metre swimming pool and a traditional thatched lapa with braai.

THE POOL

The centrepiece of the property is our crystal-clear, 10-metre, salt-water swimming pool. A high-efficiency heat pump keeps the water at a comfortable but still refreshing 25 degrees year-round. Full-length chaise-lounges edge the pool for your ultimate relaxation.
THE BAR

A large, traditionally thatched lapa is poolside. It features a built-in braai that guests can use to prepare their own South African barbecue meals. Unfortunately, we are not licenced to sell alcohol, so you are very welcome to bring all your own soft drinks, mineral waters, wine, beer or whatever else you may enjoy. It’s the perfect spot to kick back and relax after a game of golf or a day exploring the region.

YOUR HOSTS

Your hosts, Ally and Dave, are both from South Africa and have 15 years of experience in the lodging business. We are here to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Our aim is to keep the lodge and its rooms up to the highest standard, so please feel free to let us know if you find anything in your unit that is not up to standard. We welcome your feedback.

Easy Five has extensive landscaped gardens with towering palm trees, gorgeous jacaranda, producing fruit trees and an explosion of roses, hydrangea and other flowers that keep it colourful all year long. And not all of our visitors are the two-legged kind.
